This little drop down is easy to miss and therefore it should not be default No. It is always better with a false Yes than a false No since the Swedish legislation (AFS 2014:43) requires the company to list all chemical risk sources that contains substances with exposure limits.
The best would be if there was a "Select" option if nothing is chosen. That way the user updating a risk assessment knows if the previous user selected Yes/No of simply forgot that little drop down. If that is not possible then Yes should be default. As I said, better with a false Yes than a false No in this case.
In the new risk assessment forms, the information about the actual limit values is extracted automatically from the safety data sheet. - The user can set their own values if that is relevant, but we will always display the information by default to ensure that the user gets the information about the limit values directly.
