Substances with the same CAS number may have different labelling criteria, depending on composition and properties. This is regulated by use of Notes. Such a Note can be Note P showing that a substance shall not be classified as carcinogenic if it can be shown to contain less than 0.1 % w/w of benzen.
In earlier version of Publisher editor, it was possible to add such notes to the substance, but if that is done in the new publisher, it will not be shown when substances are included in a mixture. The loss of the Note will give cause of questioning the labelling of the mixture, as the exception made by the Note is not visible.
Use the field "CLP classification, notes" in section 2.1 in the substance editor. This field is possible to make visible in section 3.2 when the substance is inserted into a mixture.
