Customers have experienced that the authorities have pointed out upon inspection that Eco Archive does not comply with the requirements on a Chemical inventory according to AFS 2014:43 §6 since it is not possible to get a simple overview of the requested information. The system probably fulfills the requirements but there is no simple way to get the information out from the system which could lead to that customers choose another system with easier availability of this information. They want a smooth contact with the authorities.
This could be fixed by:
1. Creating a view that contains the information required for a chemical inventory according to AFS 2014:43. ( type of hazard, in which location it is stored and normally used (the location). if an occupational exposure limit value exists and what other special rules may apply for the chemical hazard.)
2. Creating a standard report with the required information. (The report OHS chemical report does not contain OELs). The important thing is that it becomes possible to get an overview of this information. Today it is not possible to get a complete report on products with an OEL. You have to open each risk assessment or safety data sheet to see if the product contains substances with OELs or, if you use Reporter, it is possible to get a report with the OELs but, data could be missing for Short versions, and the field Product information - Exposure limits does not work.
New columns added to the OHS chemical report to comply with regulation.
