Folders in chemical risk assesment

In our company we have two departments sharing chemicals, which is why we only have one section containing both departments. however one department is a QC with numerous often used procedures, whereas the other is a research department, continuously using new procedures. we would like to split the risk assessment in this section into the departments so that our often used QC risk assessments doesn't drown in research risk assessments.
