There is a strong need to be able to establish our own safety data sheet / work instructions where we can collect several SDSs and make an overall assessment of this joint use of the chemicals.
The safety data sheet / work instructions are named with the method / procedure name and are available on each of the chemicals included in the assessment.
When one of the locations makes a change to the named method, it also changes at all locations. (fewer places to perform audits, and more targeted information that can be used in training new staff / students.)
Top information from the safety data sheets of the chemicals included should come on top of such work instructions (name of chemical, QR code and general section).
Then, as users, we will make a further assessment of which protective measures are necessary in the various parts of the procedure / method based on information we have from SDS and the risk assessments.
