We have recently noticed that an internal approver is needed to send a request to a chemical supplier to register a new MSDS in the global databas. This function is not needed stops this process, could you please remove this funtion or make it optional (possible to wsitch on/off).
The new SDS Request functionlaity is now released for the new CM interface. You now add your SDS and get it instantly available in the inventory as a temporary file. This allows you to get a complete inventory the moment you request the product and can start adding internal information and risk assessments straigt away.
The request is sent to our Service team. They add the document to the database if it fulfills the requirements (according to CLP, correct language, not too old, in a format they can copy informtion from etc.) and rejects the request if it does not match the criterias. You can follow your request from the SDS Request tab on the start page.
We see this as a great improvement. Hope you feel the same. :)
