I don´t know if we´re alone in using Chemical Manager in the way we are, but we spend far too much time doing manual work were we shouln´t have to. Chemical Manager should have automated handling of amounts. If our users update amounts with "amount added" or "amount used", we should get the yearly used amount calculated in the program. When ever our users have done inventory and put what ever amount they found of the product in, information on how much have been used or added during that year disapears and I have to manually find out. It takes eons of time and I can´t expect that the users keeps this information separately. Why isn´t the whole amountsmodule automated? I cannot see any reason that user would want to separate amounts used, stored, added - from the rest of the program. We are a shipping company with 17 vessels and the only thing we have to register when it comes to stock, is chemicals. I don´t want to have to add a stockhandling program aswell for a number of reasons. The Swedish accountingsystem is one reason, it complicates our financial reporting. Please consider automating amounts.
