We are a global company. We use EcoOnline to manage our chemical products used for manufacture. We purchase chemical products from vendors from various countries in the world, not only European.
We thought that the implementation of a harmonized classification and labelling regulation in both US and Canada would makes our chemical management easier and we would be able to store/access these SDSs from US and Canada in EcoOnline. But now we are realizing that this „harmonisation“ is not really so harmonized as the GHS SDSs are a littlebit different from the REACH/CLP SDSs, and EcoOnline does not want to add the GHS SDSs to EcoOnline. This is very inconvenient for us as it means EcoOnline can‘t cover all our SDSs and we need two separate chemical management systems.
We are not so keen on doing the work ourselves and put the GHS SDSs in Local Publisher.
I really hope you will reconsider your decision and allow adding GHS SDSs to EcoOnline. You could label them in similar way as you do now with CLP and DPD/DSD.
In hope for a good solution,
I totally agree. This is similar for our global company as well. I hope EcoOnline can try to do this and it would maybe also speed up the GHS process more.
